About the role

  • Accounts receivable and credit and collection functions, which include billing, credit and collection, reconciliations, bank deposits, maintenance of cash receipts and accounts receivable records
  • Accounts payable function, which involves the processing of payments and maintenance of disbursements and accounts payable records
  • Payroll processing functions including verification of time and expenses
  • Payroll-related human resources functions including benefits administration, handling of unemployment and workers’ compensation claims, and employee vacation and sick leave monitoring
  • Fixed assets tracking and monitoring functions, which involves the maintenance of fixed assets records and related depreciation schedules
  • Financial reporting function of the above duties
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Other accounting and administrative functions that may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, and work in an organized, detailed manner
  • Process-oriented with strong time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent organization skills with strong attention to details
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages (like QuickBooks) preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
