Responsibilities
Assist government agency in developing and implementing Environmental Program policies, procedures, and guidance.
Perform reviews and recommend changes to Environmental Management policies.
Review environmental compliance checklist(s) and recommend modifications.
Review and assist with Environmental Program training content; conduct training classes.
Review state and local environmental regulations impacting agency operations.
Requirements
US Citizen with ability to obtain public trust
Bachelor's Degree in environmentally related field
At least 1 year of experience in environmental work (i.e., environmental compliance, policy development, regulatory analysis, environmental auditing)
Ability to work independently and engage with team members.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
High degree of originality, creativity, and initiative requiring minimal supervision.
Willing and able to support travel (10-20%) to three states in the south.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
