About the role
- Junior Consultant supporting clients in Advanced Planning & Scheduling solutions at Germanedge. Collaborating with senior consultants and learning to develop expertise in digital factory processes.
Responsibilities
- In this role you will support the capture, analysis and documentation of customer requirements in Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS).
- You will develop solution concepts and specifications in close cooperation with experienced senior consultants.
- You will assist with testing, deployments, customer training and support go-lives.
- Expect close collaboration within the project team and active knowledge exchange with colleagues from consulting and development.
- Continuous on-the-job learning to gradually develop into an expert in APS solutions and digital factory processes.
Requirements
- You are a team player and have initial experience or a strong interest in production planning, logistics processes, or factory digitalization.
- Ideally you have first exposure to planning software, ERP systems (e.g. SAP) or databases.
- You enjoy working analytically and contributing to the development of solution concepts within a team.
- You are open, communicative, eager to learn and want to establish yourself as an expert.
- Basic knowledge of a programming or configuration language (e.g. JavaScript, Python) is a plus but not required.
- Good German skills (at least B2) and good English complete your profile.
