About the role

  • Work with audio designers to design technical approach to achieve artistic vision
  • Plan and detail any environment requirements for optimal audio presentation
  • Work with Gameplay, AI, and Optimisation engineers to integrate audio systems while staying in performance budgets
  • Profile and optimise audio usage to achieve high quality with minimal CPU and memory overhead
  • Deliver high-performance, high-quality, and well-documented code
  • Use source control and bug reporting software
  • Prioritize and execute tasks in a team environment

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of C++
  • Experience with Unreal Engine
  • Good Knowledge and experience with Wwise.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Familiar with profiling and debugging tools
  • Passion for developing immersive audio solutions that elevate the player experience
  • Clear passion for gaming
  • **__Desirable__**
  • Experience with integrating audio driven effects. (e.g. Wwise motion)
  • Experience working with Wwise authoring API (WAAPI)
  • Design and implement solid APIs.
  • Agile development experience
  • Tool creation experience
  • Familiarity with other coding languages such as C#, Python, Groovy
