About the role
- RTR Junior Accountant ensuring operational finance and accounting services for M&C Saatchi Group. Assisting the Senior Accountant with daily financial accounting and reporting duties.
Responsibilities
- Ensure transactions recorded are technically compliant
- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, internal controls and processes
- Preparation of month end reports including but not limited to; bank, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
- Fortnightly review of general ledgers, preparation of prepayments and accruals schedules
- Updating and maintaining the Fixed Asset register and preparing journals
- General journal posting within timelines
- Intercompany invoicing, confirmations and reconciliations
- Assistance with preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assistance with year-end budget analysis
- Support the preparation of additional requests that come from M&C Plc (Group)
- Ad hoc requests to support the Senior Accountant
- Balance sheet Reconciliation
Requirements
- Accounting Degree (post graduate/honours in accounting will be beneficial)
- Experience using financial ERP systems, Spectra PF (BCC) would be favourable
- > 3 years work experience in similar role
- Experience in Advertising & Media would be favourable
- Experience working in a shared service environment is desirable
