About the role
- Java Software Engineer developing robust back-end solutions with Spring Boot for Peasy's growing B2C platform. Working in a dynamic team within an agile environment in Belgium.
Responsibilities
- · Ontwikkelen van robuuste back-end oplossingen in Java met de focus op Spring Boot 3, Reactor/WebFlux
- · Werken volgens de Agile Scrum-methodologie
- · Samenwerken met onze Head of Product en andere stakeholders in België en Marokko
- · Meedenken over technische architectuur en langetermijnvisie
- · Designen van technische oplossingen en deze vertalen naar concrete taken
- · Bouwen en onderhouden van webcomponenten in Angular, voornamelijk ter ondersteuning van de back-endfunctionaliteit
- · Evalueren en herwerken van bestaande toepassingen om prestaties, schaalbaarheid en efficiëntie te verbeteren
- · Je rapporteert aan onze Head of Tech
Requirements
- · Je hebt minstens 3 jaar ervaring als JAVA developer, liefst in een agile omgeving
- · Je hebt sterke ervaring met Spring boot
- · Kennis van AI-oplossingen is een plus
- · Je houdt van structuur, maar bent flexibel wanneer het moet
- · Je denkt graag strategisch mee en bouwt aan duurzame oplossingen
- · Je communiceert vlot in het Engels en hebt een goede kennis van Nederlands
- · Je bent een teamplayer, maar werkt ook graag autonoom
- · Je kan je herkennen in onze kernwaarden zoals klantgerichtheid en respect voor elkaar
- · Je bent bereid twee keer per week naar ons kantoor te komen te Zaventem
