About the role
- Develop scalable, secure Java-based applications for government and public sector projects.
- Leverage Kubernetes and containerization to deploy, manage, and scale services.
- Apply DevOps practices including CI/CD automation, monitoring, and infrastructure automation.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Helm and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Collaborate within small, cross-functional engineering teams to deliver incremental handovers.
- Work within government frameworks and support legacy-to-cloud migration projects.
Requirements
- Strong Java – Proven experience building enterprise-level applications.
- Kubernetes – Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and scaling services in containerized environments.
- DevOps mindset – Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), automation, and monitoring.
- Cloud platforms – Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (especially in a secure or regulated environment).
- Infrastructure as Code – Proficient with Terraform, Helm, or similar tools.
- Version control – Git expertise and collaborative workflows (e.g., trunk-based or Gitflow).
- Agile delivery – Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
