About the role
- Support, planning, sizing and product selection for application environments within customer projects
- Integrate systems into the central monitoring, logging and metering
- Independent troubleshooting and remediation as well as debugging together with vendors' 3rd-level support
- Development of backup and recovery concepts as well as fault-tolerance and high-availability strategies
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the IT field or a completed technical degree or equivalent
- Several years of experience in server infrastructure, hypervisors, containers, and Linux/UNIX operating systems and networks
- Strong expertise in operating large UNIX/Linux farms, including orchestration and automation
- Ideally, knowledge of database products such as Postgres, MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle or similar
