About the role

  • Support, planning, sizing and product selection for application environments within customer projects
  • Integrate systems into the central monitoring, logging and metering
  • Independent troubleshooting and remediation as well as debugging together with vendors' 3rd-level support
  • Development of backup and recovery concepts as well as fault-tolerance and high-availability strategies

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in the IT field or a completed technical degree or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in server infrastructure, hypervisors, containers, and Linux/UNIX operating systems and networks
  • Strong expertise in operating large UNIX/Linux farms, including orchestration and automation
  • Ideally, knowledge of database products such as Postgres, MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle or similar
