About the role
- Systems Migration Business Analyst with strong QA expertise for critical system migration initiatives at MRI Software. Bridging technical and business teams to ensure successful transitions from legacy systems.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business users
- Analyze current state systems and processes to develop comprehensive migration strategies
- Document business requirements and data mappings
- Identify risks, dependencies, and critical success factors for migration projects
- Design and execute data validation strategies for pre and post-migration scenarios
- Document data discrepancies and work with teams to resolve issues
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering end-to-end process scenarios
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
- Validate that migrated systems meet business requirements and performance standards
- Collaborate with training team to train end users on new system functionality post-migration
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in systems migration projects.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
- Proven experience working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Demonstrated experience in both data QA and functional QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with system migration or data conversion projects.
- IT/CRM or Sales and Marketing Applications Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, SuiteProjects (OpenAir), HubSpot, Zoho, and other systems.
