IT System Administrator for hosting services including systems monitoring and automation. Seeking someone with Linux administration and LAMP stack experience at KEVAG Telekom in Koblenz.
Responsibilities
Support the customer's daily operations in the hosting area (domains, DNS, certificates, backups, e‑mail, (virtual) servers)
Migrate systems to be monitored into the existing monitoring platform
Containerize existing services and systems
Automate routine tasks
Assist in maintaining our own data centers
Create and maintain existing documentation
Requirements
At least one year of professional experience in similar roles
Strong knowledge of Linux administration (Debian)
Practical experience administering a LAMP stack and databases
Initial experience with monitoring systems (e.g., Icinga, Grafana, InfluxDB)
Initial experience with configuration-management tools (e.g., Ansible) or orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) is an advantage
Knowledge of virtualization or container technologies is an advantage
LPIC certifications are a plus
Able to work both collaboratively and independently
Good German and English language skills
Quick comprehension and solution-oriented working style
Experience in analytical troubleshooting
