About the role

  • You are the central point of contact for our customers and support them in successfully integrating our Industry 4.0 software solutions into their processes and using them productively in day-to-day operations.
  • Together with your team you manage a dedicated customer portfolio and advise on technical or functional questions regarding the business-critical software infrastructure.
  • You coordinate and perform complex software updates, analyze potential disruptions in customer systems and ensure their resolution — via remote maintenance and in close coordination with our development department.
  • Through your efforts you ensure that our solutions remain stable and successful in the long term and optimally support the workflows of our customers in the aviation industry.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or a degree in (business) computer science, mathematics or a comparable field.
  • Confident handling of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Initial exposure to and/or experience with container-orchestrated cloud environments (for example Kubernetes, Grafana, etc.).
  • Customer-oriented working style, strong communication skills and a solution-focused mindset.
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, and good German language skills at least at B2 level.
  • Practical experience, for example as an IT support specialist, in IT customer support or as a software support engineer, and familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL processes.
  • Programming knowledge in BATCH/PowerShell/Perl/Python and experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases (SQL) as well as cloud solutions.
  • Initial experience with remote maintenance connections and virtual machines.
