Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring).
Operate and oversee VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machine infrastructure.
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, user/group management, permissions.
Monitor server health, performance, capacity; respond to alerts, diagnose and resolve incidents.
Work with backup/recovery solutions, disaster recovery procedures.
Assist in configuration, management and troubleshooting of infrastructure services (including storage, networking basics, virtualisation platforms).
Collaborate with service desk, escalation tiers to ensure smooth incident/problem/service request resolution.
Participate in remote support across clients, ensuring SLA compliance and high customer satisfaction.
Document infrastructure, changes, run books, and contribute to standard operating procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement: automation, tooling, monitoring enhancements, standardisation.
Requirements
Proven experience (3-5+ years) in infrastructure support / systems administration roles focusing on Windows Servers and virtualisation (VMware ESXi or similar).
Experience with server monitoring tools, alerting and incident response.
Ability to operate in managed services context: device-based service model, multiple client environments, standardised processes, documentation.
Self-starter mindset, good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage workload.
Good problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Experienced working in multinational teams, i.e. sensitive of cultural differences and adaptable
Fluency in English and German (spoken and written)
