About the role
- Investment Product Analyst supporting the management of mutual fund, ETF, and SMA product lineup at Manulife. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for competitive and client-aligned product strategies.
Responsibilities
- Support a team of Product Managers by providing data-driven insights to help position our investments products in the field
- Conduct market research to analyze trends and identify product gaps and opportunities
- Provide Product Managers with detailed competitive analysis at the fund level
- Support platform management activities including fund rationalization and/or enhancement efforts
- Analyze fund performance, flows, and peer group comparisons
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to be utilized by key stakeholders
- Support pricing and fee analysis for existing products
- Liaise with legal, compliance, and operations to ensure product documentation and processes are accurate and up to date
- Partner with marketing to act as subject matter expert in the development and review of collateral and presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
- CFA and/or CAIA designation or progress toward it is an asset
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in investment product management and/or development
- Familiarity with mutual fund and ETF structures, including investment strategies across multiple asset classes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
