About the role
- Interior Project Architect focused on large scale commercial interiors construction in Boston. Collaborating with teams to create detailed construction documentation and project oversight.
Responsibilities
- Create construction drawings for large scale commercial interiors projects
- Collaborate with Project Managers and various engineers and consultants
- Develop plans, elevations and details in Revit
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure design intent is met
- Produce quality construction documents and technical detailing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited program or a Bachelor of Architecture
- 3 years minimum experience as an interior designer/architect in a client services firm
- Strong experience with construction documentation; design and technical detailing in all phases
- Programming, SD-CD’s and CA
- Collaboration and coordination with engineers, various consultants and vendors
- Work closely with Project Managers, Executives, architects, contractors, and engineers
- Minimum of 3 years of experience creating construction drawings for large scale commercial interiors projects
- Demonstrated experience and skills creating plans, RCPS, elevations, details and dimensioning in Revit to align with design intent
- Strong detailing skills for interior construction and millwork elements with elevated design aesthetic
- Ability to successfully work as part of a team on multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced technical skills with: Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup
- Proficiency with: Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
- Enscape Designer Pages for furniture specifications, Deltek Vantagepoint and Newforma
