Project Delivery and Interdisciplinary Coordination
Translate the project scope and contractual requirements to effective and efficient execution of technical work
Understand client needs and translate into project team actions (prioritization, sequencing, execution, and delegation of tasks)
Coordinate effectively with an integrated project delivery team which may include architects and civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and/or process engineers.
Develop and apply interdisciplinary coordination experience to evaluate facility and operational tradeoffs, determine practical design solutions, and mitigate potential project issues as early as possible in projects
Execute work in an organized manner, adhering to standards and processes, project management framework, and project documentation policies
Communicate proactively and effectively with colleagues at the team, studio, and project level
Act as a client contact on project work and be fully accountable to commitments made
Independently plan, lead, and/or contribute to meetings and workshops during all phases of a project to gather, clarify, and confirm information
Apply strong communication and organizational skills (technical writing, technical presentations, information gathering and collaborative style workshops, informal meetings) in the execution of project tasks
Formulate appropriate and effective technical approaches for the industrial engineering scope of work on a project
Execute a portion of the technical work independently, with support from others as required
Apply financial acumen to understand how our client’s business needs are connected to project requirements and how to model and evaluate capex, opex, and/or revenue implications of various options
Support the learning and development of teammates via informal support and/or mentoring opportunities
Effectively translate client requirements into a work breakdown structure (time allocation, schedule development, resource identification) to support development of proposals
Network internally and externally to raise awareness of the value of industrial engineering in applicable project types and scopes of work
Stay up to date with industry/market trends, emerging technologies, and skillsets applicable to our work and client needs
