About the role

  • Provide evening telemedicine counseling and therapy to patients of Community Health Center partners throughout Arizona (Mon-Fri 1pm-9pm or Tues-Fri 11am-9pm)
  • Deliver evidence-based practices in individual and group therapy settings (CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Trauma Therapy, Addiction Therapy, ACT, Bereavement/Grief Counseling, etc.)
  • Review and sign patient clinical psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents in a timely manner
  • Maintain clinic records and ensure documentation complies with clinical, contractual, regulatory, and legal requirements
  • Conduct crisis intervention based on individual safety plans
  • Participate in regular case planning with multidisciplinary teams to determine clinically appropriate patient disposition
  • Participate in individual and group supervision and ongoing professional education, demonstrate competency through assessments
  • Provide case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Licensed Therapist or Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Active, unrestricted mental health license in state of primary residence and state of medical services being provided (Arizona); or willing to obtain an Arizona license
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment (telemedicine)
  • Willingness to work evening hours (Mon-Fri 1pm-9pm or Tues-Fri 11am-9pm)
  • Patient-first mindset
  • Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours
  • Good manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
  • Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence
  • Sufficient hearing ability for participating in phone calls or virtual meetings
  • Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connectivity
  • Willingness to undergo comprehensive background checks and drug screenings
  • Competency with evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychoeducation, Trauma Therapy, Addiction Therapy, ACT, Bereavement/Grief Counseling)
  • Ability to maintain clinical documentation, review and sign psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents
  • Ability to participate in supervision, ongoing education, and multidisciplinary case planning
  • Ability to provide crisis intervention and case management services as needed
