About the role
- Hardware Engineer developing hardware communications for ticketbro’s selfcheckout terminal. Collaborate with product team and enhance the product based on provider feedback while working in Munich or remotely.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development of the ticketbro self-checkout terminal
- Enhance the product by implementing your own ideas
- Gather feedback and feature requests from major providers using the self-checkout terminal
- Build delightful experiences for the self-checkout terminal
- Work collaboratively with the product team to understand provider challenges and requirements
- Resolve technical issues by coding and implementing required features
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software development focused on hardware communications, particularly with printers, payment devices, and scanners
- At least 2 years of experience in software development using React.js
- Experience with an IoT fleet management platform (e.g., Balena) is a plus
- Experience using GraphQL as a client is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
