About the role
- Join Capgemini as a Guidewire Testing Specialist, focusing on automation testing for Guidewire applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or ALM.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in software testing with at least 3+ years in **Guidewire Testing**.
- Strong knowledge of **Guidewire modules** – PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.
- Experience with **Guidewire Digital Portal Testing** is a plus.
- Proficiency in **automation testing tools** (e.g., Selenium, UFT, TestNG).
- Experience with **API testing** using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with **Agile methodologies** and tools like JIRA, Confluence.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- **Preferred Qualifications:**
- - Guidewire certification (if any).
- - Experience in insurance domain processes and workflows.
- - Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, etc.
