About the role
- Graduate Structural Engineer conducting structural analysis and design for client project delivery. Assisting in establishing client briefs, fees, and aiding design improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Undertake structural analysis and design works within a specified timeframe and Company quality standards and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Assist in the management of project delivery to provide clients with results on time and budget.
- Assist in establishing client briefs, appropriate fees, and commercial management through to completion.
- Works towards the continuous improvement of the department by creating effective and standardized calculation system and other design tools.
Requirements
- Licensed Civil Engineer.
- Minimum of 2-3 years hands on experience in detailed design of steel and concrete structures.
- Familiarity in any of the following design and analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, RAPT, STAAD-PRO, RAM, Robot, and Microstran is an advantage.
- Familiarity with design codes such as Australian and/or American Standards.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial awareness.
- Highly motivated and ability to work independently.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook are required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
