About the role

  • Undertake structural analysis and design works within a specified timeframe and Company quality standards and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Assist in the management of project delivery to provide clients with results on time and budget.
  • Assist in establishing client briefs, appropriate fees, and commercial management through to completion.
  • Works towards the continuous improvement of the department by creating effective and standardized calculation system and other design tools.

Requirements

  • Licensed Civil Engineer.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years hands on experience in detailed design of steel and concrete structures.
  • Familiarity in any of the following design and analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, RAPT, STAAD-PRO, RAM, Robot, and Microstran is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with design codes such as Australian and/or American Standards.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Highly motivated and ability to work independently.
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook are required.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
