About the role

  • Participate in a three-year graduate programme with three 12-month rotations across Intelligence, Security & Crisis Management (ISC)
  • Work within one of ISC areas: Intelligence & International Advisory, Crisis and Continuity Management, or Security
  • Support Political Risk Management, geopolitical intelligence, commercially focused intelligence, strategic cyber intelligence, and insider risk (I&IA)
  • Support crisis response, business continuity programs, response exercises and bp’s risk management process (C&CM)
  • Provide specialist physical security advice, support development of security plans and policies, and assist with security incidents and projects (Security)
  • Help respond to bp customer needs and build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate across functions, segments and teams to deliver solutions and work on projects
  • Support team performance and contribute to maintaining performance for bp as a company
  • Take part in additional activities such as community initiatives and bp Business Resourcing Groups

Requirements

  • Be in your final year of study and be on track for a 2:1, or have completed your degree with a 2:1
  • All degree backgrounds are welcome
  • Strong spoken and written English language skills, including business and technical English (language skills will be assessed throughout the recruitment process)
  • Availability to attend in-person Exploration Days (bp will cover reasonable travel and accommodation costs)
  • Ability to adapt positively to change and take initiative

Benefits

  • Starting Salary: £37,100 per annum
  • Discretionary, performance related, annual bonus
  • Sign on Bonus: £3,000 (one off payment subject to tax and national insurance)
