Responsibilities
- The role focuses on project work and geotechnical investigations
- Execution of geotechnical sampling and field and laboratory testing
- Geological/geotechnical description and classification of soils and rocks
- Project work in the field of geotechnical engineering domestically and abroad, including documentation and review of results and ensuring compliance with specifications and contract requirements
- Handling projects with regard to quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements in coordination with the department head and project managers
- Planning, coordination and execution of geotechnical investigations, tests and measurements
- Collaboration with project-related subcontractors
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, Geology, Surveying/Geodesy or a comparable program
- Initial relevant practical experience through internships or working-student positions is an advantage but not a requirement
- Confident and professionally competent appearance with strong communication skills
- Ability to handle conflicts and strong negotiation skills
- High level of commitment and willingness to take initiative
- IT skills: proficient use of Microsoft Office and ArcGIS
- Fluent German (C2) and good English (B2)
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work in intercultural and international teams
- Enjoyment of teamwork
