About the role
- Full Stack Engineer modernizing RealSelf platform through backend and frontend development. Collaborate in a hybrid team environment to enhance user engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across backend and frontend systems.
- Build scalable APIs and backend services in Node.js + TypeScript with SQL.
- Develop polished frontend experiences with Next.js, React, and SCSS Processors.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues across the stack.
- Contribute to engineering culture by championing standards, documentation, and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with software development in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, or Go).
- 3+ years of experience with full stack development (backend and frontend).
- 3+ years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching production software.
- 1+ years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AI developer tooling (e.g., Cursor, Claude CLI, or similar) to accelerate development workflows and improve productivity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
