About the role
- Improve and maintain the Reseller platform for eSIM digital connectivity services
- Involved in product lifecycle from ideation to deployment to maintenance
- Design, write and test code following squad standards
- Design robust and scalable APIs to support multiple clients (Desktop, Mobile, etc)
- Manage and optimize distributed systems in a cloud environment (AWS)
- Identify repeatable tasks and write scripts to automate them
- Write and maintain automated and regression testing scripts to ensure bugfree code
- Write internal and external documentation (customer facing, release notes, etc)
- Support other business areas requiring backend knowledge
- Support and mentor Junior developers
- Work closely with Product and Customer Success teams in a multidisciplinary squad
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working as a Senior Backend Developer
- Strong computer science foundations, mostly working in distributed systems
- Extensive experience writing scalable APIs using REST architecture
- Experience writing code in Golang programming language
- Experience in a modern Javascript web framework (Svelte, Vue.js or React)
- Experience working in AWS cloud environment
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Familiar with API and WebApps security standards and authentication methods (API key, JWT token, OAuth 2.0)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Preferred: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent
- Preferred: Experience in Java, .NET or Javascript
- Preferred: Experience writing IaC scripts and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Preferred: Experience communicating with stakeholders and/or customers
- Preferred: Experience in Event Driven architecture
