About the role

  • Lead the day-to-day operation, maintenance and development of Chip’s core financial models, including revenue and three-statement forecasting.
  • Support the Head of FP&A in delivering the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and insight-driven.
  • Collaborate with the SVP Finance, Product, Growth and data teams to ensure financial forecasts are grounded in real operational drivers and user behaviours.
  • Deliver high-quality monthly performance reporting and analysis for senior leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support strategic, regulatory, and commercial decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner , providing clear, data-led insights that help shape product, pricing, and growth strategies.
  • Assist with regulatory capital modelling and ICARA , maintaining clear documentation and ensuring revenue assumptions align with capital planning.
  • Support fundraising and investor processes , contributing to financial models, scenario analysis, and due diligence materials.
  • Develop and automate tools and dashboards to improve visibility of performance across finance and the wider business.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, modelling efficiency, and financial planning processes.

Requirements

  • Proven background in a FinTech, Digital Bank, Challenger Bank, Retail or Business Bank.
  • Strong understanding of products across savings, investments and wealth management.
  • Experience working with cohort models , customer behaviour and product-level unit economics.
  • Proven experience working in an FP&A or commercial finance role with exposure to forecasting, budgeting and scenario analysis.
  • Experience working closely with Data teams to align financial models with user metrics and operational inputs.
  • Advanced Excel and VBA skills (must-have) ; strong modelling ability and comfortable with large data sets.
  • Excellent attention to detail , with the ability to take ownership of tasks from end to end.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to link financial results to business drivers.
  • Confident communicator, able to translate financial insights for non-financial stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Experience working with data teams.
  • At least 3 years industry experience post qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent qualification).
