About the role
- Firmware Developer enhancing features and firmware for Oura's health-focused technology. Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless functionality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Developing new features and enhancing the existing features of our current product offering and factory firmware
- Participating in maintenance activities including bug fixing, automated functional and unit test improvements
- Collaborating across teams including science, hardware, test, mobile application development teams
- Contributing to in-house tools while enjoying a culture of cooperation, trust, equality, and flexibility
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong skills in C/C++ programming
- Expertise in MCU programming on real-time platforms
- Experience with automated functional and unit testing
- Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Python or other scripting knowledge
- Understanding of measurement techniques and Bluetooth Low Energy
- Good communication skills
- Interest or experience in sensor data processing
- Experience in using oscilloscopes and other measurement equipment
- Knowledge of other object-oriented programming languages
- Experience in system-level debugging and analysis
