About the role
- Product Analyst supporting data-driven product decisions and optimizing performance across payment platforms at a growing fintech in Amsterdam. Collaborating with product managers to enhance user experiences and define KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers to define KPIs, set success metrics, and track performance across digital payment features
- Conduct detailed analyses on user behaviour, conversion funnels, transaction data, and feature adoption
- Deliver actionable insights to shape product roadmap and enhance user experience
- Partner with engineering and data teams to build dashboards, reports, and data pipelines
- Help identify growth opportunities, friction points, and areas for optimisation within the payment ecosystem
- Contribute to A/B testing strategies and experiment tracking to inform product iterations
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories for internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a data or product analytics role, ideally within fintech, banking, or payments
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with analytics tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with product experimentation, A/B testing, and statistical analysis
- Experience working with large datasets and data models related to transaction flows or financial systems
- Clear communicator with the ability to influence product direction through data
- Bonus: Experience working in regulated financial environments or familiarity with Open Banking, SEPA, or card network dynamics
