About the role
- Financial Analyst supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities for National Hardware. Partnering with business leaders to provide insights that drive strategic decisions and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain pricing models to evaluate product profitability, customer margins, and pricing strategies.
- Analyze historical pricing, competitive benchmarks, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to develop go-to-market pricing for new products or services.
- Support month-end close processes by analyzing reports and preparing journal entries.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial trends and identify risks and opportunities for business units.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Assist with ad hoc financial modeling, scenario analysis, and investment evaluations.
- Maintain and improve financial reporting tools and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field
- MBA or CPA a plus
- 1-3 years’ finance and accounting experience
- Exceptional communication skills, written and oral, speaks English proficiently.
- Excellent PC and spreadsheet skills.
- SAP and Hyperion/Essbase experience is highly desired.
