About the role
- Bilanzbuchhalter managing financial records and reports at an international recycling company. Responsible for financial statements, tax compliance and working with auditors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Perform intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare for and support external audits by auditors
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations in cooperation with tax advisors
- Contribute to the development of planning and control metrics as well as the internal control system
- Serve as the subject-matter contact for employees, group companies and the parent company
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or certified Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK)
- At least 3 years' professional experience in financial reporting within an industrial company or as an audit assistant in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of HGB and basic knowledge of IFRS
- Independent and reliable working style
- Fluent German and good English skills
- Confident user of standard Microsoft Office applications
