Finance Intern supporting financial operations at international nonprofit ICCT in Beijing. Assist with accounting transactions, audits, and document filings over a 3-month internship.
Responsibilities
Assist with the processing of daily accounting transactions, ensuring accurate and compliant financial records
Support the preparation, organization, and filing of financial documents to maintain a systematic and standardized recordkeeping system
Assist with reviewing and verifying reimbursement claims to ensure completeness and compliance with policies
Collaborate with program teams and external accounting agents to collect and submit relevant financial materials
Assist with financial preparation and payment processing for project-related meetings
Support annual and special audits for the Beijing office and headquarters as needed
Provide flexible support for other ad-hoc tasks assigned to the finance team
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
Undergraduate students in their third year or above majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related fields
Internship experience in finance or accounting
possession of relevant certificates such as Junior Accountant qualification is preferred
Fluent in English and Chinese, speaking, listening, reading, and writing, Can be used as daily work language
Candidates who have passed the College English Test (CET) Band 4 or 6, or hold other recognized English proficiency certifications, will be given priority
Strong professional ethics and confidentiality awareness, capable of properly handling and protecting sensitive financial information
High sense of responsibility and proactive learning attitude, with good team spirit
able to quickly acquire new knowledge and skills under guidance
Excellent communication and coordination skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
