About the role
- Finance Director managing financial operations for blackcrows in Paris, overseeing accounting and compliance across multiple entities. Requires strong financial background with experience in audit and consolidation.
Responsibilities
- Manage cash flow forecasting (using Agicap)
- Oversee company accounting in coordination with external service providers
- Perform simple consolidation for three legal entities
- Continue documenting accounting processes
- Establish rules to ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting entries and records
- Supervise tax and social filings
- Contribute to information system upgrades and the automation of accounting operations
- Provide internal communication and general training on internal control and fraud prevention
- Provide functional, cross‑departmental leadership to the Financial Controller on accounting and tax matters
Requirements
- Accounting and finance qualification
- 8–12 years of professional experience in an audit firm, accounting practice or in-house in equivalent roles
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and taxation
- Ability to perform simple consolidation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to take a strategic view beyond accounting data
- Business-level English required
- Prior experience with SAP B1 will enable a faster ramp-up but is not required
- Line management responsibility for a team of 2
