About the role
- Field Service Technician responsible for on-site installation and maintenance of inspection devices. Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- On-site service: Install, commission and support our inspection devices directly at the customer's premises
- Maintenance & repair: Perform inspections, modifications and repairs on existing devices and machines
- Fault analysis: Diagnose technical faults and resolve them independently and efficiently
- User training: Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the devices and provide support for technical questions
- Customer communication: Coordinate appointments, spare-part deliveries and technical issues in close coordination with customers and internal departments
- International assignments: Support our customers primarily in Germany, occasionally in Europe and rarely worldwide
Requirements
- Technical training: You have completed vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics or a comparable technical qualification
- Working style: You work independently, are service-oriented and have a strong focus on quality
- Customer focus: You bring empathy, openness and intercultural competence when dealing with international customers
- Willingness to travel: You are flexible and willing to travel regularly within Germany and occasionally internationally
- Language skills: You have good English skills, particularly in technical contexts
- Teamwork: You work reliably with colleagues and customers and take responsibility in field service
