Observability Engineer tasked with maintaining HPE's observability infrastructure while collaborating across teams for system performance enhancements. Role requires flexible working and US Citizenship with a security clearance.
Responsibilities
You will be part of a larger technical team, working as an Observability Engineer in an OpsRamp environment.
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the observability infrastructure.
Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Improve system performance and optimize resource utilization.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and fix root causes of issues.
Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance and effectiveness of the OpsRamp platform.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree holder (technical field) with 6-8 years working experience in related fields desired.
Certifications Required DD8750 - Security Plus or higher Security Certification (CISSP, CASP, etc)
Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash).
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP).
Proven experience with the OpsRamp platform is a strong plus.
Experience with at least 1 other observability tool (Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, Splunk) is preferred.
