About the role

  • Own the show: Lead the end-to-end planning and production of flagship events across two dynamic cities.
  • Drive impact: Ensure each event meets revenue goals, hits timelines, and leaves a lasting impression.
  • Master the details: Manage budgets, contracts, timelines, and logistics like a pro.
  • Collaborate and connect: Work with sales, marketing, editorial, and sponsors to build strategic experiences that drive attendance and engagement.
  • Lead on execution: From kickoff to teardown, you’ll be the go-to person who makes it all happen—flawlessly.
  • Measure & improve: Track KPIs, gather insights, and elevate every event, year after year.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in event planning and execution—media, community, or brand events a plus
  • Strong budget management and P&L ownership
  • Excellent project management, communication, and vendor negotiation skills
  • A cool head under pressure and a passion for crafting amazing in-person experiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across cities with high attention to detail
  • A collaborative mindset and a “make it happen” attitude
  • Willingness to travel between San Antonio and Austin as needed
