About the role

  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, ensuring uptime and reliability
  • Lead validations, URS, CAPAs, and change controls for new installations
  • Troubleshoot issues, monitor alarms, and manage replacements
  • Work closely with external vendors, auditors, and contractors
  • Use QMS (Vivaldi & Veeva) to document and manage equipment and quality processes
  • Ensure compliance with GCLP, ISO 17025, GMP/GLP standards
  • Support scientific teams in high-containment (BSL3/GMO) and R&D laboratories
  • Contribute to optimizing equipment, facilities, and project engineering

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a lab/facilities environment
  • Hands-on knowledge of validation, decommissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Experience maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
  • Experience with qualification/validation, URS, CAPAs, and change controls
  • Background in pharma, chemical, or clinical research (clinical trials not required)
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks: GCLP, ISO 17025, GMP/GLP
  • Experience using QMS tools (Vivaldi & Veeva)
  • English language required; Dutch helpful but not required
