About the role
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, ensuring uptime and reliability
- Lead validations, URS, CAPAs, and change controls for new installations
- Troubleshoot issues, monitor alarms, and manage replacements
- Work closely with external vendors, auditors, and contractors
- Use QMS (Vivaldi & Veeva) to document and manage equipment and quality processes
- Ensure compliance with GCLP, ISO 17025, GMP/GLP standards
- Support scientific teams in high-containment (BSL3/GMO) and R&D laboratories
- Contribute to optimizing equipment, facilities, and project engineering
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a lab/facilities environment
- Hands-on knowledge of validation, decommissioning, and troubleshooting
- Experience maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
- Experience with qualification/validation, URS, CAPAs, and change controls
- Background in pharma, chemical, or clinical research (clinical trials not required)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks: GCLP, ISO 17025, GMP/GLP
- Experience using QMS tools (Vivaldi & Veeva)
- English language required; Dutch helpful but not required
