Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the architectural vision for a large-scale enterprise platform
- Lead the transformation of legacy systems into modern architectures
- Design solutions that run seamlessly in cloud-native environments (AWS)
- Ensure systems meet the highest standards in regulated industries
- Partner with Product, Security, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders
- Mentor engineers and establish architectural guidelines, best practices, and governance processes
- Stay ahead of emerging trends and evaluate tools, frameworks, and practices
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- At least 5 years as a solutions or enterprise architect for complex systems
- Successful track record of transforming legacy systems into modular, service-oriented, or event-driven architectures
- Deep experience with AWS (ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- Mastery of Java/Spring Boot, .NET Core, microservices, APIs, databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks for regulated industries
- Bilingual advantage: Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
