Responsibilities
Sales management of our product portfolio of cybersecurity solutions (Application Security, WAF, DDoS Protection, API Security, Cloud Security) and services, taking into account margin targets, the competitive situation and individual customer needs
Independently plan and prioritize sales activities to consistently achieve and exceed fair revenue targets in the area of cyber security, supported by a stable management team
Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities — from first customer contact to successful closing — with a clear focus on new customer acquisition and strategic market penetration
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers (C-level) at target customers, especially in security-critical industries, to establish long-term partnerships
Actively manage the entire sales funnel, including forecasting, opportunity management and coordination with pre-sales, marketing and technical experts
Work closely with internal interfaces such as Product Management, Consulting and Customer Success to ensure high customer satisfaction and sustainable revenue growth
Requirements
Completed degree in Business Administration, (Business) Computer Science or a comparable discipline — combined with a pronounced technical understanding of complex IT and security solutions
Solid expertise in IT security — ideally with experience in Application Security, WAF, DDoS Protection, API Security, Cloud Security or related technologies
Strong communication skills to convincingly engage with a wide range of stakeholders on both the customer and company side — from technical contacts to C-level
Hunter mentality: independent, structured and target-oriented way of working combined with a clear focus on prospecting, strong closing skills and the drive to open up new markets
Experience developing and implementing sales strategies, ideally in a B2B environment with complex, consultative IT solutions
Business-fluent German and English skills, spoken and written — confident presence in international customer and partner meetings.
