About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the scale-up of gold leaching technologies from lab to pilot and full-scale operations
- Design and optimize metallurgical flowsheets tailored to various ore types
- Manage relationships with labs, engineering firms, and equipment vendors
- Oversee the development of process diagrams, equipment lists, and commissioning plans
- Direct on-site commissioning, ramp-up, and performance tracking
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, including tailings and water management
- Act as the key liaison between technical teams, project partners, and clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering
- 15+ years in gold processing/metallurgy, including site-based roles and project delivery
- Proven experience scaling up at least two gold processing technologies (e.g., CIL/CIP, flotation, SART, BIOX/POX)
- Strong foundation in comminution, flotation, carbon management, and reagent schemes
- Familiarity with HAZOP, LOPA, ICMI Cyanide Code, and GISTM/ICMM standards
