About the role

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, setting clear expectations and supporting their growth
  • Build strong relationships with direct reports and manage their performance effectively
  • Collaborate closely with the team’s PM to align engineering priorities with product goals
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality features in line with company OKRs
  • Uphold engineering standards and best practices across the codebase
  • Remain hands-on where needed, contributing to the product codebase
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team collaboration
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence

Requirements

  • 1 year + experience in managing engineers
  • Strong engineering background, willing and able to be hands-on
  • Product and delivery mindset
  • Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
