About the role

Engineering Manager leading enterprise team focused on integrating Relevance AI's automation platform into large organizations. Engaging in technical leadership and stakeholder management for complex projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team focused on enterprise customer requirements, nurturing engineers and building team capability.
Be hands-on in technical execution: reviewing code, contributing to backend development, and making architectural decisions.
Drive delivery of backend-heavy, security-focused projects that meet enterprise-grade standards of reliability, security, and compliance.
Establish structure and stability in a fast-paced environment, balancing rapid iteration with process-driven enterprise delivery.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Solutions, and Sales to scope and deliver critical features for enterprise adoption and retention.
Manage complex stakeholder relationships with global enterprise clients, ensuring alignment across multiple teams.
Define and track metrics that demonstrate enterprise success, from adoption rates to delivery quality.

Proven experience leading enterprise SaaS projects, ideally in backend-heavy, security-focused environments.
Strong technical background in APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure (AWS Node.js/Python; REST/GraphQL).
Hands-on engineering skills; you still enjoy coding, reviewing code, and setting technical direction.
3+ years of people management experience
Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with both clients and internal leadership.
Ability to thrive in dual modes: fast-paced iterative environments and structured enterprise delivery.
