About the role

  • Engineering Intern supporting Digital Platforms and AI Strategy in a dynamic hybrid workplace. Engaging in projects within the rapidly changing healthcare tech industry.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the company’s Digital Platforms and AI Organization(DPAIO)
  • Engaging in challenging projects evolving around the rapidly changing healthcare tech industry
  • Pairing with industry professionals and mentors to stretch skills and enrich knowledge base
  • Developing strategies, programs and solutions based on business priorities, consumer insights and industry trends that support digital strategy
  • Creating, gathering and assessing market requirements through competitive intelligence and emerging trends, stakeholder and consumer feedback
  • Reimagining how technology works to deliver new capabilities, maintain system efficiency, and reinvest in accelerating transformation
  • Leveraging AI to transform business processes, automate systems, and deliver the best service and experiences for stakeholders
  • Delivering technology capabilities cost efficiently to enable growth of topline revenue for the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the summer internship program (May 18th- August 7th)
  • Enrolled in an approved academic program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a related field of study
  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
  • For the Veteran internship, candidates do not need to be students as military experience and training can be substituted for educational experience
  • Experience and education in: Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in technical aspects of computer and software engineering
  • Knowledge of various technologies such as, but not limited to Java, Python, C++, Software Development & Testing, Software Development & Architecture, Cloud Computing, APIs, Database Management, AI, ML, AWS, Snowflake, RDBMS, Dev Ops
  • Ability to convey the problem and solution pictorially using Powerpoint, Miro or other equivalent technologies
  • Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proven analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication abilities.
