About the role
- Engineer managing electrical distribution network projects for WSW Netz GmbH in Wuppertal. Responsible for project planning and technical assessments in energy distribution.
Responsibilities
- Planning and design of lines in high-voltage and low-voltage power networks
- Responsible for the planning of complete network measures from a technical and organizational perspective
- Network calculations and assessment of high-voltage and low-voltage line networks, including 1‑kV installations
- Internal and external coordination of the planned measures
- Monitoring technical developments and integrating new findings into ongoing planning tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in general electrical engineering, power/energy engineering, or a comparable program
- Good knowledge of lines, networks and related equipment
- Ideally, solid experience in the field of electrical distribution networks
- Independent working style, high level of personal responsibility and initiative
- Good knowledge of and experience with relevant IT systems (e.g., SAP, LOVION, GIS, Neplan)
- Valid driver’s license for passenger cars
