About the role

  • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to define design requirements and project deliverables
  • Prepare drawings, schematics, layouts, and design details for construction and fabrication purposes
  • Develop and maintain drawing standards, templates, and procedures
  • Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards
  • Incorporate vendor drawings and technical information into project documentation
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Support project documentation and drafting activities as directed by project leadership

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Design, or equivalent
  • 4–7 years of relevant design experience
  • At least 2 years in an EPC or EPCM environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience within the oil and gas sector preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and industry practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
