Responsibilities
Own specification generation, design, and analysis of electrical systems for well pad facilities (well field electrical equipment, power delivery, systems, transmission, etc.)
Drive first-principles tradeoff analysis across power delivery systems to optimize system performance
Identify opportunities to simplify and accelerate designs while maintaining technical excellence
Inform and support procurement efforts relating to electrical scopes of well pad designs
Demonstrate extreme ownership by taking responsibility for cost, safety, and constructability in addition to design
Work with urgency and resilience, embracing rapid iteration and maintaining high performance under pressure
Collaborate closely across disciplines (process, mechanical, reservoir, drilling, construction) as well as with external partners to drive integrated solutions
Contribute to a culture of technical excellence and accountability, modeling the values that define a world-class engineering team.
Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
4+ years of experience in electrical engineering on large capital projects, preferably involving upstream well sites, gathering systems, and production infrastructure
Hands-on experience designing and commissioning medium- and high-voltage power distribution and electrical systems supporting well field operations
Proven background integrating electrical systems into upstream facilities, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards
Proven ability to execute design, analysis, and field support for complex electrical systems within multidisciplinary project teams
Strong communication skills; with the ability to clearly convey technical information and collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, and external partners.
