Responsibilities:

Perform circuit design, mixed-signal analysis, and troubleshooting at the board and module level.
Lead or support high-voltage DC power module design from a few watts to kilowatt+ converters.
Conduct Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Develop specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for electronic systems.
Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power meters for testing and troubleshooting.
Support assembly and validation of circuit cards, modules, and subsystems in a lab environment.
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
Stay ahead of technology trends and contribute to research and development initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field and 5+ years of relevant experience; OR - -- Master’s degree plus 3+ years of experience.
Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and circuit design.
Experience with high voltage DC power systems and/or power electronics.
Familiarity with CAD tools and mixed-signal circuit analysis.
Hands-on troubleshooting and testing experience using specialized lab equipment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with fiber optics (transmitters, receivers, and optical components).
Knowledge of isolated switching converters and power transmission systems.
Experience building circuit boards, modules, and assemblies in a lab environment.
Strong background in analog design, instrumentation, and schematic analysis.
Familiarity with DoD systems, processes, or standards.
Research & Development (R&D) experience with a focus on innovative electronic design.
Agile development experience.
