About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist the team with developing, designing and planning power distribution and lighting systems
- Conduct kick-off meetings with design team, clients and owners to develop a scope of work
- Perform site visits to determine existing conditions and document all associated systems
- Convey all information required for submissions on all design deliverables
- Layout, sizing and specifying required equipment
- Produce load calculations
- Attend meetings and communicate clearly with clients
- Coordinate and interact with all other trades
- Meet all deadlines as assigned
- Work well with other designers, engineers, and project managers
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Building Systems Design
- Verifiable experience aligned with U.S. industry standards
- Familiarity with applicable codes (NEC) and regulations
- Strong understanding of the electrical engineering discipline
- Ability to provide immediate support for a fast-paced department
- Working knowledge of Revit (preferred), MEP Building System Design and/or AutoCAD
