About the role
- Developing complex web applications and delivering user experiences using Drupal and Acquia DXP. Collaborating within a diverse team on impactful solutions for B2B and B2C clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex web applications and digital platforms using Drupal and the Acquia Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
- Enable seamless multi-channel strategies and deliver outstanding user experiences across web ecosystems.
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of designers, consultants, and software engineers to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and architecture to implementation and deployment.
- Work closely with large B2B and B2C clients or organizations with a strong digital presence and web affinity.
- Translate business needs into scalable, maintainable, and high-performing technical solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the team and across client projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Drupal CMS, experience with the Acquia Digital Experience Platform (DXP) is a plus
- Understanding of web development best practices for performance, security, and scalability
- Experience with headless or decoupled Drupal architectures
- Strong knowledge of current web technologies and experience with standard software frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Drupal core and contributed modules, custom module development, and theming
- Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB), RESTful APIs, GraphQL, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX
- Experience with development environments and tools such as Docker, Git, and IDEs like VS Code or PHPStorm
- Strong personal initiative and a passion for continuous learning
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
- University or college degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Very good English skills
