About the role

  • **Your mission will be to**
  • Improve and add new features to our CI/CD systems (FluxCD, Github actions, python scripting ...).
  • Work on the Kubernetes operators to make them more efficient, and more integrated with other systems and put in place update processes such as Blue/Green or Canary.
  • Work on an in-house workload orchestrator solution built using Rust language.
  • Develop internal tooling for our platform, from custom Rust libraries to observability tools
  • You will also work on developing DevOps practices, application-level reliability, observability, performance tuning, FinOps, incident management, supporting development processes, and non-core systems.
  • Participate in the day-to-day operational activities.
  • Discuss needs with Flowdesk's teams and answer those needs.
  • Propose improvements and bring new ideas to the table.

Requirements

  • **Background and experience**
  • English is mandatory
  • Experience with Kubernetes Operators and Kubernetes globally.
  • Strong backend engineering experience (python, node, Golang, rust)
  • Experience using Ansible, Terraform, Google Cloud, or AWS.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, fluxCD, and Github actions would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, etc ...)
  • Strong interest in technology and eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts
