About the role
- DevOps Engineer at citema systems GmbH, developing IT platforms and collaborating with teams. Involves CI/CD pipeline construction and container-based platform implementations.
Responsibilities
- You are part of a DevOps squad of four DevOps Engineers and support the development of our IT platforms
- Member of the Application Software Platform team and responsible for building our container-based customer platforms
- Implementation and evaluation of DevOps strategies and processes
- Collaboration with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle
- Creation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds and deployments
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, plus experience in platform or DevOps engineering
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins, and with container technologies such as Docker, Podman and Kubernetes
- Experience automating Linux and Windows server systems
- Knowledge of Python and Rust
- Team player with strong communication skills and an independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent German (spoken and written) required
