Responsibilities
- This is a position we are hiring for behalf of our client in the business travel industry.
- We are looking for a DevOps Engineer that will contribute to the national & international development teams to build new products as well as implement third-party software components into the Qode's Client Software Landscape.
- These new products will help our customers to manage their work-life smart, safe, and in a fully sustainable way.
- The position is located as an important interface between the needs of customers, external partners and collaborates closely with product management, UX/UI, and other Product Owners.
- Be part of a team to develop and deploy the Backend applications on AWS cloud architecture using Java and relevant technologies.
- Define and manage cloud infrastructure as code (IAC), improve CI/CD pipeline, ensure scalability and availability of the system, build a monitoring stack, and automate build, configuration, and deployment orchestration scripts.
- Utilize a broad toolset for DevOps/Infra and leveraging variety of services from AWS.
- Improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of all systems.
- Build and optimize CI/CD for operation and deployment as automatically as possible.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and manage all environments of the team.
- Work with the engineering team and take architectural decisions.
- Have knowledge of network protocols and Standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT technology or related field
- At least 3 yoe in the same position
- Understanding and experience with AWS: Account administration, Billing, IAM users/roles,etc
- Practical experience with multiple Infrastructures as Code tools: Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation or SAM
- Orchestration of containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes in GitLab.
- Experience and understand the concept of software architecture and its related technologies: Serverless,
- Microservices, Event driven architectures, RESTfull API/ SOAP, CDN, etc
- Understanding and experience with networking: Load balancers, TCP, UDP, etc
- Experience with source control and related concepts
