About the role
- DevOps Engineer responsible for maintaining operating systems and automating infrastructure provisioning. Collaborating with Agile teams in cloud environments for software and digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools;
- Build and configure delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools using an Agile delivery methodology;
- Create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks, increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks;
- Monitor and support all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, acting proactively, evaluating application performance, identifying potential bottlenecks, developing solutions, and implementing them with the help of Development teams;
- Participate in defining the DevOps technology roadmap, toolsets and strategies based on industry best-practices.
Requirements
- Knowledge of at least one dynamic scripting language (Python, Ruby, Groovy etc.);
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes);
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP);
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gitlab etc.);
- Professional experience with automation and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform);
- Good knowledge of version control systems (Git preferably, SVN etc.);
- Familiarity with RBDMS databases (MySQL, Postrgres).
- Nice to have:
- Experience with NoSQL databases;
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack).
